Here I am, little lamb...

Crimes of passion, crimes of hate, crimes for no reason at all. A blog devoted to exploring songs of murder most foul. Rock, blues, jazz, Appalachian ballads etc.

SSoM will also discuss murder lore, facts and information in general. It will occasionally venture into various "off-topic" areas as well, but will try to stick to the bizarre, the creepy and the strange.

I am by no means a professional music historian. Many of the writings you'll find here are simply my opinions and nothing more.

I pick songs that I either like or interest me from a cultural standpoint. Please feel free to politely suggest a song.
